Kitchen Rules
The rental fee includes use of the kitchen for final prep and serving purposes only. Full use of kitchen for prep and cooking purposes will be charged at $50 per hour.
Absolutely NO FRYING of any kind, by order of the Fire Marshal. Kitchen does not have fire suppression system. No pan frying, deep frying, or sauteing.
Do not put ice, liquids, ice cream or salad dressings in garbage bags. They will leak. Pour ice and liquids down the sink. Freeze other items for disposal.
Because we are located "on the square" we do not have a Dumpster. Garbage is placed on the curb shortly before pickup. We will go over the procedures for garbage during the final walk-through.
Kitchen must be clean in order to get your security deposit returned in full. Spills on work tables, stove, ovens and floors should be wiped up promptly with a damp cloth.
Dishes, pots, and utensils must be scraped before washing to eliminate grease going into trap.
Recycling is strongly encouraged, and containers are provided for cans, plastic bottles, glass, paper, and cardboard. The more you recycle, the fewer garbage bags you will use.
Treat appliances with care -- we can keep our rental charge low if the facility is treated with respect. Read contract for information on damages.
Ice -- There is no ice maker in the center. Bagged ice is available for purchase nearby.
Pitchers of chilled water is available in the refrigerator for all events.
Side driveway and entry near kitchen available for caterers use.
Dish sink is located in storage room, not in kitchen, for more prep space and better sanitation.
